許淑淨賽前受傷，仍不負眾望為台灣隊摘下首金，除了靠實力，教練蔡溫義透露，其實許淑淨更深信運氣，原來每回出賽時，許淑淨一定會在胸前掛上平安符，當然這次，親友也不忘到廟宇，求符送到里約去，全家人更特別穿上，專屬許淑淨的幸運紅色上衣，跨海集氣奏效！

2015年亞錦賽得名後，許淑淨跟家人，回到老家1臺南市學甲區媽媽贈品0公里外的麥寮拱範宮還願，原來全家都是虔誠的媽祖信徒，特別是這次賽前受傷，身旁親友，大夥人求一張平安符，送到里約去。
